‘Sword and Sorrow’: From Global Platforms to a Muharram Theatrical Release

After the international screening of the animated film "Sword and Sorrow" on Amazon and Apple TV and getting an 8.5 rating on IMDb, the technical infrastructure has been provided for the simultaneous screening of this animation in the country. This epic work, which is a new narrative of the Ashura movement with "meta-human" technology, can be one of the animation options for the Muharram days.

According to the public relations report of Mahva Entertainment Industries; While the cinematic animation "Sword and Sorrow" as an Iranian animation, has started its global screening on the reliable platforms of Amazon and Apple TV and has managed to attract the opinion of international audiences and critics, now this work is fully prepared for nationwide screening in cinemas of the country.

"Sword and Sorrow" has been able to be present in international markets by relying on the knowledge of Iranian experts and the use of "meta-human" technology in the country's animation production.

This work was made with a view to the elevation of Ashura culture and with the aim of narrating the most influential event in the history of Islam from the point of view of an Iranian. Due to the arrival of the month of Muharram, there is complete preparation for "Sword and Sorrow" to go on the silver screen of the country's cinemas at the same time as the mourning begins.
